Summary of the final regulatory action:

This pesticide has not been registered for use in Trinidad and Tobago because
of its highly toxic nature. As a Result the pesticides and toxic chemicals control
board has prohibited the manufacture, importation, trade and use of Captafol.
This is in keeping with provisions under the pesticides and toxic Chemicals
control act 1979 and the pesticides regulations of 1987.

Captafol is a pesticide highly toxic to humans as reported by FAQ, WHO and NIOSH

This pesticide is highly toxic to aquatic Organisms

To prevent exposure of aquatic organisms to the risks of contamination by this product
